First, I'd love to start by saying I'm so honored and excited that you are here. My name is Courtney Backs. I started my photography business before I got married, which is why my business name is Courtney Shockley Photo. I live in the Kansas City area, and primarily shoot engagements, weddings, and elopements. I love traveling, hiking, being adventurous, and absolutely love meeting new friends. I love being creative and being able to show that through my photography work.

One of the most important things to me as a photographer is building a relationship with my clients. I believe being a photographer is more than just business. It's being able to relate to my clients in a way that I can then create their stories through images.
